The Coop was was founded as the Harvard Cooperative in 1882 to supply books, school supplies, and wood and coal for winter heating. Today, the Coop is one of the largest college campus bookstores. Membership cost $1 annually in 1882, and this fee has not been increased. Members receive a 10% discount.

The Harvard Shop has three retail locations in Harvard Square which sell Harvard merchandise and apparel. It's part of Harvard Student Agencies, and puts all profits back into the operations to continue funding employment opportunities for Harvard students. They have a section specifically for alumni.

Go Crimson is the official website for Harvard University Athletics. It sells Harvard merchandise, as well as providing news and information about Harvard Athletics and selling tickets to Harvard athletic events.

The Harvard Book Store has been a locally owned, independently run Cambridge bookstore since 1932.
