25th Reunion Logo

Dear Classmates,

We hope your new year is off to a great start, and we are very excited to begin the countdown to our 25th Reunion! Yes, with the calendar turning to 2015, we are less than four months from our gathering in Cambridge on May 27–31 (i.e., beginning the Wednesday followingMemorial Day weekend)! Since early last summer, our reunion committee has been meeting monthly and carefully crafting this celebration, including plenty of opportunities to laugh, learn, engage, and simply reconnect with one another.

This page provides you with an overview of the reunion scheduleanswers to many of your likely questions, and information on how to register for all or a selection of reunion events and on-campus housing. Please note that there is a special early bird discount for those who register for one of our reunion packages before February 28, 2015, so it literally pays to read this and take action!

It is our fervent hope that as many of you as possible will return to Harvard! We are designing a range of activities that we hope offers something for everyone, including:

  • Social activities, many organized around our shared communities—House and freshman dorm affiliation and extracurricular activities—and some, like a scavenger hunt, that promote new friendships. Please note that you may be hearing about some of these plans from your House captains soon.
  • Panels, forums, and TED-like talks by classmates for classmates that highlight just some of the fascinating journeys we have taken the last 25 years.
  • An exclusive evening at the Pops that will include special classmate performances and a police motorcade to Symphony Hall!
  • Presentations given by President Drew Gilpin Faust and current Harvard faculty.
  • Site visits around campus offering a glimpse of Harvard today; you'll be amazed at some of the transformations!
  • An opportunity to participate in the Commencement Day exercises.

We have been continuously reminded these last few months of what an amazing Class we have! Just by attending reunion committee meetings, we have all had the chance to connect with people we did not know or did not know well. This has been a highlight for all of us, and we want to make sure you have opportunity for this rediscovery over our few short days together in May.

For those of you bringing children, rest assured we have a full range of activities for kids aged 18 months to 18 years in our Children's Program. From Wednesday through Saturday, all “Camp Harvard” participants will gather after breakfast in common-age groups for a full day and evening of engaging and exciting activities. Professional staff members and undergraduate counselors will oversee events both on campus and at other Boston-area attractions. This program always wins rave reviews from kids and adults alike!

Finally, on the FAQs page you'll find details about on-campus housing, in dorms in and around Harvard Yard. We strongly encourage you to sign up for this experience when you register for the Reunion—not only because there are now several Boston-area schools that will be holding commencement or reunion activities that weekend, but, better, because it allows us all to relive the thrill and energy that only being a freshman at Harvard can create.

So read on and register today! While we hope we've provided you with all the information you need and anticipated your questions, should you need anything else, there are several ways to get in touch:

We so look forward to seeing you in May!

Yours, on behalf of the reunion committee,
